Description
The Castle sits within vast grounds on the edge of Bishop Auckland, 10 miles south of Durham City. The Castle includes a beautiful 17th Century Chapel, which is the largest private chapel in Europe. Apart from that we have four large rooms available for your use, each with unique character, old furniture, and huge windows enjoying spectacular views across the grounds and surrounding countryside. Throughout the Castle there are huge real log fires creating a lovely cosy atmosphere during the winter months.
