The contemporary interior of Empress Grill contrasts delightfully with the dramatic surroundings of the historic Winter Gardens and welcomes all diners. The delicious grill menu is second to none offering varied evening meals using a delicious range of seasonal and locally sourced produce. Diners can sit back, relax and watch their food being prepared through the open pass by our expert chefs. The restaurant is also available for hire for private and corporate events.

Also situated within the Grade II listed Winter Gardens are a number of rooms available for a variety of events including weddings, private celebrations, conferences, exhibitions and themed events.
The large, vaulted Andalucian-style Spanish Hall is the perfect venue for grand occasions and can accommodate up to 500 delegates on banqueting rounds.

The impressive Baronial hall boasts a medieval castle design comprising intricately crafted oak panelling, medieval detailing and accommodates up to 200 delegates on banqueting rounds; Perfect for fairytale weddings, themed banquets and conferences with a twist.

Next to the Baronial Hall is the Renaissance room consisting of delightful contrasting orange and blues creating a vibrant conference suite accommodating up to 200 delegates.

The Empress Ballroom built in 1896, is a large spectacular space which comfortably accommodate 1000 delegates. Surrounded by dangling chandeliers, balconies and a barrel-vaulted ceiling, this stunning room is the perfect venue for concerts, competitions, conferences and large dinner dances or large corporate dinners.
