Description

The main House is a Georgian villa which was designed for the 2nd Earl of Bessborough in the 1760's by Sir William Chambers - who was also the architect for Somerset House and the Pagoda at Kew Gardens. Inside the House the suite of five Chambers Rooms still retain many of their original features including decorated fireplaces and ornamental ceilings. These rooms, which overlook Richmond Park, are ideal for business meetings, lunches, cocktail receptions and formal dinners.

In 1861, a beautiful chapel was added with majestic domed ceilings, arches and pillars. Now renamed the Manresa Hall it is a unique venue for accommodating receptions, buffets, dinner dances and meetings. The site also boasts two beautiful outdoor courtyards which can be used in conjunction with other rooms.

Parkstead House is located just outside of Central London between Richmond Park and Wimbledon. The site has easy access either by car, train or bus as it is situated just off the A3. Free parking is available on site.

We would be happy to accommodate your club luncheon, your company anniversary dinner or Christmas party. We would be delighted to have your summer BBQ and jazz party in the grounds whilst hosting a five a side match at the same time!

We also allow animals on site (with permission) so a dog show or horse display in a possibly. Parkstead House really is a venue with a difference.

Parkstead House is truly an elegant and romantic setting for your wedding day.

This beautifully restored venue offers you the flexibility of accommodating all your guests no matter what the size of your wedding reception. The venue has two outdoor courtyards, sweeping staircases and balconies which are perfect for wedding photographs. You could even arrive by horse and carriage to the entrance of the main house.

You can choose just to get married at Parkstead House but why not have the convenience of having everything in one venue by having your drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening dancing with us well?
