Luton is synonymous with the hat making industry which dominated the town in the 18th Century, hence the nickname of Luton Town Football club ‘The Hatters’. There are major upgrades to the town’s bus and railway station and St George’s Square was completely rebuilt in 2007.
Situated in the Eastern Part of The Chiltern Hills, Luton is part of Bedfordshire and is only 30 miles from London, with great transport links, including the M1 motorway.
