Description

Located in West Sussex, Wakehurst Place is a beautiful 180 acre country estate and conservation area managed by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Within its magnificent grounds, the stunning 16th Century Mansion can be hired out exclusively for private and corporate functions.

The venue is set against the sensational backdrop of the Mansion Lake and can accommodate a wide range of events, from weddings and corporate away days, to dinner dances and evening parties.

The light and airy Gallery leads into the classical, wood-panelled Dining Room. Both rooms are licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships, and make an impressive backdrop for your next meeting or dinner dance.

The rooms can be used together to accommodate up to 120 guests for a reception. They open onto a formal lawn overlooking the West Sussex landscape, which presents an outstanding opportunity for drinks receptions and memorable photographs.

To add something special to your next event guests can arrange to have private guided tours of the gardens or Millennium Seedbank, to learn more about the life saving research that Kew undertakes.

All profits from our events help raise funds for vital national and international plant conservation programmes, to help prevent climate change and preserve life on earth for future generations.
