Accor's MGallery to open new London venue

Accor is set to open the St Ermin's Hotel as part of its MGallery collection, it has been revealed.

The London venue is currently owned and operated by US group Amerimar Enterprises, but the two companies have now signed a franchise agreement.

Under this, Accor will launch St Ermin's, which is located in St. James, as MGallery's first London offering.

The hotel, which is set to open in April, will feature 331 rooms, including 41 deluxe suites.

Accor's hotel chains include Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, Mercure and Suite Novotel.

Jean-Jacques Dessors, managing director of Novotel, Mercure, Ibis, Etap and F1 UK and Ireland, said: "The launch of MGallery in London underlines Accor's ambitious and aggressive expansion plans to grow its UK network to 300 hotels by 2015 in the UK, as well as increasing Accor's upscale offering in London."

Recently, Accor announced plans to create new Mercure hotels across the UK, including the Mercure London Kensington Hotel.
