Venue at a glance

Dulwich Picture Gallery combines Sir John Soane’s historic galleries with contemporary event rooms and three acres of landscaped grounds. The venue hosts weddings, corporate events, conferences, away days, private dining, parties, filming, children’s celebrations and memorials.

• Galleries – up to 250 standing or 120 for a seated dinner
• Soane Gallery and Linbury Room – civil ceremonies for 10–150 guests
• Linbury Room – 90 lecture-style, 50 for private dining or 30 boardroom-style
• Gallery Café – up to 50 guests for an evening reception
• Canteen – up to 30 seated
• Art Studio – capacity available on enquiry

Hire availability

• The galleries are available from 6.30pm to 11pm, with setup from 5pm
• All-day gallery hire is available on Mondays, when the Gallery is closed
• The Linbury Room is available during the day and evening
• The Gallery Café is available on Mondays or from 5pm on other days
• The Canteen is available for evening hire from 5pm
• Wedding hire becomes exclusive after 5pm; daytime use is non-exclusive while the Gallery is open
• Funerals and memorial services are available on Mondays only
