Venue at a glance
Leicester Guildhall on Guildhall Lane is a Grade I listed timber-framed building with more than 630 years of continuous use. It includes the Great Hall, the Mayor’s Parlour with original stained-glass windows, and several smaller rooms arranged around a central courtyard. Total capacity is 300 guests. The building is managed by Leicester Museums and is licensed for weddings, private dining, and corporate events.
The history of the space is part of the offer: guests move through rooms that have served as a medieval guild hall, courthouse, and police station. It suits intimate formal dinners, heritage-themed events, and small ceremonies. It does not have loading access for heavy exhibition equipment, and the room configuration is fixed by the historic structure.
