King Richard III Visitor Centre

The King Richard III Visitor Centre occupies a modern building on St Martins in Leicester’s old town, constructed over the site where Richard III’s remains were discovered in 2012. The hireable space is the King’s Suite on the first floor — a Victorian room with wooden floors, sash windows, and high beamed ceilings, accommodating up to 100 guests theatre style or 32 in boardroom layout.

The suite includes AV equipment, air conditioning, and its own bar, and exclusive evening hires can include access to the grave site and exhibition galleries. The venue suits small conferences, client briefings, and company events where the story of the building is a talking point. It is not suitable for large dinners, exhibitions, or events needing access for more than 100 guests.
