Bar Convent

Choose from a range of facilities from the traditional formality of the Boardroom, to the well-equipped, modern meeting space of the Bedingfield, Aspinall or Gascoigne Room. All rooms have natural daylight and private access but are also interconnecting if you require break out facilities. For a special event or celebration you can opt for the splendour of the Victorian Entrance Hall, where we can cater for up to 48 people for a 3 course dinner or 100 people for a buffet.

Catering is prepared in-house using local produce where possible and we can cater for all dietary requirements, including vegetarian and gluten free.

Conveniently located just 5 minutes walk from York railway station or York city centre, 10 minutes from the racecourse, the Convent also offers comfortable 3 star Guest House accommodation for up to 24 residents. Some en suite rooms are available and there is a lounge and fully equipped kitchen on each floor.
