The Chicago Booth London Conference Centre sits in a purpose-built 2022 building in Barts Square, in the City of London. It is the home of Chicago Booth’s Executive MBA and Executive Education programmes and is also available for external hire. The upper floors have panoramic City views, and the venue lists receptions and private dining among its best uses, so it suits an evening drinks reception or a client dinner. The interiors carry more than 50 commissioned and selected artworks, which gives the rooms a different feel from a hotel function suite.

7. HMS Belfast, Tooley Street
HMS Belfast is a Second World War warship moored on the Thames at The Queen’s Walk, with views of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. It hosts dinners, receptions and Christmas parties across five spaces, from the Ship’s Company Dining Hall (200 reception, 144 dinner) to the Admiral’s Quarters (20 dinner, 18 boardroom). 8. Trafalgar Tavern, Greenwich
The Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich is listed for Christmas parties, awards and private dining. The Nelson Banqueting Rooms look over the Thames, and with the Admirals Gallery bar and the Ante Room they take up to 200 guests. Menus include sit-down three-course meals and hot and cold buffets.
