BAFTA 195 Piccadilly has released images of its event over the weekend to showcase its new 3D projector.
On Saturday 14 May nearly 200 media, suppliers and clients were invited to a brunch and screening of the latest 3D film Rio at the venue, home to the only Guinness World Record breaking Barco DP2K-32B digital cinema projector in London.
Guests were treated to a delicious brunch from 10am before the exclusive screening at 11am. After the event each guest took home a special BAFTA chocolate mask made by Hotel Chocolat.
The venue was decorated with flowers from Hayford and Rhodes and a tropical beach scene complete with palm trees, deckchairs and parasols by Boo! with special entertainment also from Boo!
Jenny Bones, Head of Commercial Events at 195 Piccadilly commented: “The event was a perfect showcase, not only of our unique 3D experience but also of the venue’s ability to host themed receptions and events. We’ve had some fantastic feedback from the day with everyone agreeing it’s the best 3D screen they’ve been to!”.
