Over the summer, the central courtyard at Congress Centre was treated to a striking new canopy roof to protect the building's famous Epstein statue and Congress Hall's original hexagonal glass roof from the elements. The structure is made from the same inflated plastic cells supported by steel frames as the Eden Project's domes (photo shows the installation part way through) and as soon as the statue has been cleaned and restored the work will be complete.
