Birmingham venue's COO revs up a motorcycle event

Motorcycle novice John Hornby, the National Exhibition Centre Group's chief operating officer (COO), was among those who took advantage of a motorbike practice area at this year's Carole Nash Motorcycle Live.

The event, which is currently taking place at the Birmingham venue, features a Get On course, a national project which runs at more than 160 centres across the UK.

At the course, which is being held in Hall 4 throughout the exhibition, individuals are able to enjoy a free taster session from qualified instructors.

Carole Nash Motorcycle Live began on November 27th and runs until December 5th. It features 37 motorcycle manufacturers.

Earlier this year, the Midlands venue said its Managed Events team had won a four-way pitch to deliver the central stage at the show.

Managed Events teamed up with contractors Stage Electrics to design the stage set and audio visual offerings and said they would be on hand through the motorcycle show to manage the project.
