ONE of London’s most famous venues is celebrating a very special centenary with two Best of British offers for event bookers.
This year marks 100 years since the end of the First World War, when the guns fell silent after four years of conflict.
Peyton Events, the catering and event partner at IWM London (Imperial War Museum) is marking the occasion by offering special treats for corporate clients holding either daytime or evening events between 21 September and 30 November 2018.
The Museum tells the story of those whose lives have been shaped by conflict, from the First World War to the present day, through permanent and temporary exhibitions.
It also houses a variety of event spaces for everything from large scale drinks receptions and dinners to more intimate meetings and lunches.
Now Peyton Events is turning back the clock to provide catering in keeping with traditional teatime and dinner recipes.
Those booking a daytime meeting or conference can treat their delegates to a traditional afternoon tea, with platters piled high with finger sandwiches and tea stands filled to the brim with cakes and sweet treats.
Catering for evening receptions will include delights such as mini slow-cooked shepherd’s pies with Berkswell cheese followed by lemon curd tarts with lavender meringues.
The day delegate rate package is from £61 per person plus VAT with minimum numbers of 50 while the reception package if from £99 per person plus Vat for minimum numbers of 300.
