Clothes Show marks successful return to events calendar

The Clothes Show has been hailed as a success by exhibitors as it returned after a 20-year absence from the events calendar.

Held at the ExCel conference centre in London last week, it featured appearances from celebrity stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones and supermodel Erin O'Connor as well as displays from some of the most famous brands in high street fashion.

Gemma Thomas, event manager at The Event Business, which took charge of setting up the Rimmel London stand, highlighted the importance of exhibitions for communicating with clients.

"It's really important actually as it is great to get face-to-face contact with the customers and just being able to reconnect with them and explain to them about new products," she asserted.

Ms Thomas said there was a great atmosphere at the event and that visitors seemed to be enjoying taking their time to visit the various exhibition stands.

Other exhibitors included hair brands such as Toni&Guy, as well as make-up firms Benefit and B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful.
