The Best Marketing Campaign Hotel Group or Group Hotel was awarded to the De Vere Club Golf Campaign, for which De Vere demonstrated clear objectives and an impressive return on investment. For the second year running, De Vere also won Best Marketing Activity on a Small Budget for its 10.10.10 leisure campaign, using the memorable date to promote a specific offering.
Karen Argyle, Marketing Manager at De Vere Hotels, Resorts & Venues, commented: “We are delighted to receive both awards and to be recognised at the forefront of the marketing industry. Both campaigns have proven a huge success and demonstrate our desire for creativity across all business platforms”.
Andrea McKay, HMA Chairman, commented on the 10.10.10 campaign: “The entry was timely in the context of the current economic environment and creatively tapped into other media coverage around 10 October 2010. We were therefore delighted to recognise De Vere for this impressive marketing activity”.
