East Anglia event venue chooses charity for Christmas fundraising

Chilford Hall Vineyard and Conference Centre has announced that it will be fundraising for head injury charity Headway Cambridgeshire over the Christmas period, reports Business Weekly.

Chilford Hall is the biggest event venue in East Anglia and always looks to benefit local organisations through its fundraising activities. The sheer number of people visiting over the festive period means that the charity should see its profile rising, giving it a much greater opportunity to publicise its work in the local community on a long-term basis.

Glen Mejias, general manager at Chilford Hall, told the website: "We are delighted to be supporting Headway over the festive season, and will be hosting a special Valentine's Ball in February which we hope will raise much-needed funds for their work around the region."

The event venue will be running a series of high-profile events in the coming weeks, including the Boogie Nights and Four Tops Christmas Parties, all of which will seek to raise money for Headway.

Norwich Evening News 24 reports that new bar Shoosh has opened in the town and offers all-white decor and beds that can be hired for food platters.
