Heritage Motor Centre to host 6 events in one day!

The Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon is to host six exciting and unique events in one day. The Gaydon Autumn Classic, Autumn Cream Tea Run, Club Peugeot Rally, Rover SD1 Club Spares Day, Boot for Ben Car Boot and Heart of England Autojumble all take place on Sunday 19 September. Visitors can enjoy free entry and free parking to the Autojumble and Car Boot plus view all the days rally’s free of charge. Normal entry fees apply into the Museum but the HMC is also offering discounted entry into the Museum to anyone who arrives in a classic model for just £5 per person!

The Gaydon Autumn Classic is a popular annual gathering of vehicles over 20 years old and takes place from 9am – 5pm. Hundreds of modern classics as well as the more vintage models will converge at the HMC as the last run of the season.

The Autumn Cream Tea Run is a fun and relaxing road run for cars, also over 20 years old. The route, which starts and ends at the HMC, is approximately 63 miles covering parts of South Warwickshire & North Cotswold. Drivers and passengers can enjoy a cream tea at the end of the run. The cost is £20 per car (driver & passenger) which includes the car plaque, entry to the Museum and a cream tea. Additional passengers cost £10 per person.

2010 is an exciting year for the Club Peugeot Rally as it celebrates 200 years of the Peugeot Marque. The annual rally attracts members from all around the country and caters for all ages & models of Peugeot’s from circa 1905 to the current production. SD1 Rover enthusiasts will also be flocking to the Rover SD1 Club Spares Day to showcase their vehicles, meet other enthusiasts, swap valuable information and buy and sell spare parts.

‘Boot 4 Ben’, a charity car boot sale, is open to the public and traders. Gates open at 9am and close at approximately 3pm. All proceeds raised from the pitch fees will be split equally between BEN, the automotive industry charity, and BMIHT charity. Visitors can enjoy free parking and free entry to the Autojumble and Car Boot plus view all the days rally’s free of charge. Normal entry fees apply into the Museum.
