The main conference programme for Summer EVCOM14, in assocation with Olympia London, has gone live on the EVCOM website and tickets are selling fast.
The one day event packed full of educational and collaborative content will take place on 17th September. There is a lot of interest in the event, fuelled by the high calibre of speakers and contributors, plus the anticipation surrounding two soon-to-be-announced keynote plenary speakers.
The association, created from eventia and IVCA, is concentrating on bringing the membership of the events and visual content community together. They quoted Henry Ford to illustrate the main goals of the event: “Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress and working together is success.”
The format for the programme maximises delegate participation through discussion groups, workshops and panel sessions combined with plenaries incorporating Q and A. Delegates will also have the chance to experience new technologies, network and witness a few surprises planned for along the way.
The three main conference streams will cover Content & Channels, Technology & Innovation and Business & Ideas Generation. Planned sessions include:
1. Driving Change through Engagement
2. Collaborate or Abdicate
3. Content Distribution
4. Visual Trends
5. Making Good Planners Great
6. Making Live Happen
EVCOM CEO Marco Forgione commented: “We are really encouraged by the level of interest already generated for Summer EVCOM. With the challenges, issues and opportunities facing the events and visual content industry at the present time it is imperative for our members to come together to share experiences, to learn from one another, and to be motivated and inspired by the industry experts who will be speaking at our plenary and interactive workshop sessions. The programme provides the right balance between leading-edge education interactivity and social networking in a relaxed informal setting.”
