The Meetings Industry Association (MIA) will celebrate 25 years of serving the industry in 2015 with an anniversary conference, 'Stop + Think', taking place on 12th June 2015 at BMA House, London.
In recent years the not-for-profit association has become one of the largest and fastest growing trade associations in the conference, meetings and events sector.
mia Chief Executive Jane Longhurst, commented: “The determination of the association’s leadership during its 25-year history has given the conference, meetings and events industry an accreditation scheme, industry awards, invaluable research and a voice to government.”
The conference is designed to provide attendees with an innovative and future-focused view of the industry and will feature keynote speakers and interactive work streams on the topic of marketing.
In its 25th year the mia will focus on celebrating the importance of community, knowledge exchange and success. As well as the conference, the mia will be marking this milestone year with the miaList & 25th Anniversary Celebration on Monday 28th September 2015 in London.
