MIDDLE TEMPLE BOLSTERS TEAM WITH NEW HEAD OF EVENTS & CATERING

Middle Temple has bolstered its events team with the appointment of Anne Atkinson as head of events and catering. The newly created position follows continual growth of both corporate and private events at the London venue, most recently a significant 21% rise in summer event bookings. Middle Temple has hosted a range of events for clients including Wedgwood Britain, fashion brand Pringle, global law firm Linklaters and children’s charity NSPCC. 

Atkinson will work closely with the existing team to deliver high quality service across events ranging from conferences to open days and Middle Temple’s daily onsite lunch offering. It's role inludes designing and implementing a sustainable, cost effective business strategy for the events department.

Atkinson brings with her over 15 years hospitality experience working in 5 and 4 star properties. She joins Middle Temple from the Petersham Hotel in Richmond where she held the position of deputy general manager. Prior to this Atkinson worked as director of events at luxury hotel The Grove in Hertfordshire.

Atkinson has international experience under her belt working in Switzerland, Bermuda, the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Other venues Atkinson has worked in include The Langham, The Landmark London and The Savoy hotel where she held the position of banqueting manager, the first female to hold this position in its history at the time.
