Popular hotel chain Premier Inn is getting ready to open its new Scarborough venue.
Located in the town centre, the Scarborough venue is already fully booked for Easter weekend, with lots of people planning to head to the seaside town for the break.
Speaking to the Scarborough Evening News, Bogdan Rosu, general manager, revealed that reservations opened just four weeks ago, but the venue is already at 35 per cent occupancy for the next three months.
"We would expect this to shoot up even more when we open, as people can call in and book in person," added Mr Rosu.
The 74-bedroom hotel is located on the corner of Vernon Road and Falconers Road.
Earlier this month, the Newmarket Journal reported that Premier Inn is creating a new 75-bedroom Newmarket venue, which will lead to the creation of 56 jobs when it opens in May.
The hotel will feature a Table Table restaurant called the Ormonde.
