Awarded Gold in the venues Best Brochure category, UVL was praised for the new design, layout and size of their 2010 brochure, which was created to reflect a membership spanning a millennium by organising each of the 69 venues in timeline order.
UVL was also recognised for the informative nature of the brochure, the detail included on each venue as well as its easy navigation.
Lisa Hatswell, Chairman of UVL and Sales and Corporate Events Manager at The Merlin Entertainments London Eye, comments: “We are delighted to have been awarded gold for our brochure. With our diverse membership it is always a challenge to create a brochure which truly reflects each venue’s uniqueness as well as ensure it is an accessible and informative tool for buyers. The first new design for three years, the brochure has been popular with our clients and it’s fantastic to now also be recognised by our peers for making the right design choices!”
The 2010 UVL brochure, which was designed by The Cutting Edge, was launched in February at Tate Britain and was attended by more than 500 buyers, agencies and suppliers.
Organised by Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine, the ninth award presentation took place on 18 October at the Park Plaza Riverbank London. Other winners for the Best Brochure included silver for Quebec City Convention Centre and bronze for ExCel London.
