Venue at a glance

The Valley is the home of Charlton Athletic Football Club, on Floyd Road in Charlton, south-east London. Its pitch-view suites, lounges and meeting rooms host conferences, exhibitions, dinners, weddings, private celebrations and corporate events.

• North Stand Suite: 700 theatre-style, 270 cabaret or 450 standing reception.
• Club 1905 Lounge: 190 theatre-style, 170 for dinner or 102 cabaret.
• Keith Peacock Lounge: 60 standing reception, 50 theatre-style or 36 cabaret.
• Vice President’s Lounge: 50 theatre-style or for dinner, and 36 cabaret. It connects to the Keith Peacock Lounge.
• Vista Lounge: 120 standing reception.
• Boardroom: 20 boardroom-style or for dining.
• Executive boxes: generally 10 boardroom-style or for dining; the venue states that its largest box can accommodate 20.
• Bartrams: 60 for a banquet, 30 cabaret, 20 boardroom-style or 16 U-shape.

• Charlton railway station is around a three-minute walk away. North Greenwich is the nearest Underground station, with onward bus connections.
• No on-site accommodation; information about nearby hotels is available from the events team.

Hire availability

Small meeting packages for up to ten people are offered in an executive box between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Events held outside normal hours, at weekends or with bar service require security at an additional charge. Alcohol may be served at indoor events until 11.30pm under the venue’s premises licence.

The Valley’s practical strength is the range of spaces available within one stadium, from ten-person executive boxes to a large conference and banqueting suite, supported by on-site catering, parking and rail access.
