Merry Christmas from all at Venues

With Christmas just a few short days away, the team at Venues wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, happy holidays and a prosperous New Year.

So that we can celebrate the season with our friends and family, the office will be closed from the 24^th December through to the 2^nd January. We will be checking emails on the 30^th December so if there is anything urgent please do let us know.

We are all very excited for what 2015 may bring. The number of events held in the UK has steadily increased over the last couple of years and the expectations within the industry are that this will continue throughout 2015. The IPA Bellwether report, covering the third quarter of 2014, revealed a rise of 7.8% in event budgets and MPI’s latest Meetings Outlook report predicted 3.6% growth of meetings and events business in 2015.

With that in mind we are confident that now is the time to make some developments and invest in future growth. We have a number of changes planned for the look and feel of the Venues website, with the aim of enhancing user experience. Venues is the longest established and largest UK venue finder, providing event organisers with a quick and simple method of finding and contacting venues all over the UK. We plan to continue that tradition in style!

We will keep you informed of the changes as they happen and would welcome any feedback once in place.
