The Royal Over-seas League was, last month, featured in The Times as one of the UK's top ten membership deals. The artcicle cited the venue's excellent central London location and inexpensive price tag: "This organisation provides clubhouse facilities near Green Park in Central London and on Princes Street in Edinburgh, with inexpensive rooms for the location (from £105 to £200 a night in Mayfair). Members can make use of communal spaces such as the clubs' drawing rooms and gardens, as well as their restaurants and bars."

Mark Bridge, at The Times, included details of forthcoming members events: "Forthcoming members' events include a guided tour of Highgrove Gardens (costing £50, which includes lunch and travel) and a behind-the-scenes look at the Royal Academy" and noted the worldwide membership benefits, "Members have reciprocal benefits at clubs worldwide, including the Tollygunge Club in Calcutta." Before describing The Royal Over-seas League as being "worth it for traditionalists in need of a city 'base'".

Jessica Taube, Head of Sales and Business Development at ROSL said: "We are delighted that The Royal Over-Seas League has been recognised in this way by such a prestigious organisation and this confirms our belief that membership offers superb value for money alongside the fantastic privileges that you would expect from such a historic venue."

The Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL) was founded in 1910 by Sir Evelyn Wrench to foster international understanding and friendship. Today there are over 18,000 members worldwide. ROSL offers many benefits of membership - splendid clubhouses, international networking opportunites and reasonable prices due to its not-for-profit status.

The London club is also available for hire for anything from small syndicate workshops to major conferences, corporate celebrations, weddings and exhibitions.
