At the heart of this transformation is a major new fringe programme, developed in close collaboration with Manchester Convention Bureau (part of Marketing Manchester), the AO Arena and a growing network of industry partners. Running before, during and after the main exhibition, the fringe will extend the CHS Manchester experience beyond the show floor and into the wider city, creating a truly integrated, city-wide celebration.
The programme will feature a series of simultaneous experiences designed to showcase Manchester’s strengths as a leading business events destination, highlighting its creativity, media influence, sustainability credentials and rich cultural offer. By doing so, the show aims to encourage visitors to arrive earlier, stay longer and engage more deeply with everything the city has to offer.
Alongside this expanded format, CHS Manchester is reinforcing its ambition to be recognised as one of the UK’s key national exhibitions for the events industry. Supported by Manchester’s continued rise as a leading business events city, as well as its central location and excellent transport connections, the message is clear: all roads will lead to Manchester on 30 September.
Emma King adds that the goal is to provide every visitor with a warm, city-wide welcome and a richer overall experience. With strong backing from the city and active collaboration from industry associations to deliver more content, greater engagement and added value, the show’s evolution is already taking shape.
Despite its bold ambitions, CHS Manchester will remain true to its core personality. Positivity, care and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere will continue to define the event values that have long been central to CHS and will remain at the heart of its future growth.
