RCOG host Summer Networking for Eventia

The RCOG based in London’s Regents Park played host to the Eventia Summer Networking on Thursday 1st September 2011, utilising the flexible space from the Contemporary purpose built Lecture Theatre to the traditional Nuffield Hall.

Over 100 event organisers were treated to a bite-size ‘how to seminar’ on ‘Networking in the Real World’ presented by Former Vice-president of the Professional Speaking Association Andy Lapota.

Eventia Chairman Rob Allen introduced the evening. This was later followed with the launch of ‘The Next Big Thing’, a competition widely recognised across the industry, searching for exceptional talent looking to break into the corporate entertainment world. The Final will take place at International Confex in 2012.

As a round up to the evening, guests were then invited to network with a glass of Pimms and tantalise their taste buds with Homemade Mini Burgers, Cones of fish and chips with Tartare Sauce and mini Chocolate Sobinette with Tiramisu.
