Description

All our venues are different: from the beautiful, eighteenth-century Orangery, to the magnificent splendour of The Temperate House. The latter is the largest surviving Victorian glass structure in the world; where guests can wine, dine and dance the night away among the tropical plants and trees from across the globe. Cambridge Cottage is an elegant, former royal residence, with private gardens and two large function rooms capable of accommodating up to 120 people. It is available for both day and evening hire. The Orangery Conference Room provides a daytime space for up to 30 people, and is equipped with modern projection facilities. During the summer months, a temporary structure can be hired for conference and corporate events for up to 400 people. Kew’s diversity offers clients an astonishing variety of spaces to match their creative vision and production/budget requirements.

The newly available West Wing of the Sir Joseph Banks Building is a striking subterranean space that is appropriate for both daytime and evening events. Large windows within the main room (which is supplied with wireless internet access) overlook the surrounding lake at water level, which provides a tranquil setting and natural daylight for your event. Guests enter through the private atrium, which may be used as a welcome area, whilst the building’s frontage affords a view of an adjacent lawn, suitable for an outdoor reception.

By choosing Kew as your venue, not only are you ensuring your event has that important wow factor, but you will also be helping our valuable plant conservation and life-saving research work.
