The Betjeman Arms - the last pub before Paris! Housed in an impressive Grade I listed building, the pub has a poetic air. As an events space, The Betjeman Arms is just the ticket, offering fantastic value and superb quality. The variety of high-ceilinged dining rooms, terraces, meeting and drinking spots combine to offer a bright, airy pub with a rather relaxed sense of grandeur. It’s fair to say there is a poetic air surrounding this particular Geronimo pub, which is situated in the midst of the newly renovated and bustling terminus of St Pancras International Station. Due to the interesting and impressive nature of being built and designed within the four walls of a grade 1 listed station, The Betjeman Arms, named after the esteemed poet Sir John Betjeman, has a variety of different dining rooms, terraces and drinking spots to suit the diverse characters of the people passing through.
Indeed there are not one but two terraces on offer: the station terrace giving a full view of both the arriving trains and the spectacular Barlow Shed, and the Euston Road terrace, which gives you the opportunity to make the most of the (somewhat scarce) British sunshine. At the bar, rest your weary feet and forget your travelling woes by allowing us to serve you a pint of fine Midland ale or a chilled glass of white wine.
Being constantly surrounded by people from ‘the Continent’ we just can’t resist putting on a real good ale festival from time to time to show off what we Brits do so well.
If a meal is what you’re after we have a dining room to suit your need. The kitchen dining room is reminiscent of country houses of old and is ideal for a quick bite to eat and grabbing your bags and hopping on the Eurostar to foreign fields, whilst the main dining room remains unimposing despite its grandeur.
