Brighton’s Friday feeling

VisitBrighton has appointed Friday’s Media Group to undertake its UK and European PR campaign. The VisitBrighton convention bureau has undergone a transformation over the last six months. Led by VisitBrighton’s head of marketing, Melanie Sensicle, the team has been more than doubled since summer 2005. The team also has a refreshed remit. With the support of city hotels and venues they are renewing their focus on large international and national "events": and concentrating on association business in particular. “This is an important appointment for us,” says the bureau’s head of marketing, Melanie Sensicle. “Friday’s will play a critical role in helping us deliver a campaign designed to highlight what the city offers to "conference": organisers and "meetings": planners drive business into our hotels and venues.”
