The meetings industry association (mia) has revealed the list of 23 finalists for the association’s miaList 2014.
The miaList 2014, supported by The Meetings Show, will be revealed at the miaList Celebratory Lunch on 7th April 2014 at Church House Conference Centre.
Jane Longhurst, mia chief executive, commented: “The miaList is an opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to the amazing people that make our industry a success, so I am delighted that the standard for the miaList 2014 has been high. We have received nominations from many worthy candidates and I congratulate them all. We now look to meet the finalists in order to create the miaList 2014, which I believe will be particularly strong this year, I look forward to the Celebratory Lunch at Church House in April where it will be revealed.”
The process to find the final miaList 2014 will now move to the candidate interviews stage. In January, the judges will meet the finalists during two group lunches, one held at Furniture Makers Hall, London and the other at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester. Video interviews with each candidate will be conducted and the videos watched by the judges, at a later date, to determine the final miaList 2014.
