New London venue to open in City

A new London venue is to be opened soon in the City, offering meeting rooms and extensive conference facilities to prospective business clients, reports choragus.co.uk.

Avanta's new business centre will be located in Devonshire Square and will be targeting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) keen to discuss their latest business operations against a stunning urban backdrop. The centre will provide nearly 30,000 square feet of floor-space encompassing all the resources expected of cutting-edge conference facilities.

The centre will also offer easy access to bars and restaurants in the city, allowing employees to wind down after a day in the conference room, while enjoying the buzzing atmosphere of the City after dark.

Avanta now operates nearly a dozen business centres across the capital, offering over 600,000 square feet of offices and conference space equipped with the latest business resources.

Facilities in the capital are expected to expand rapidly over the next four years as the city prepares for the various demands of the Olympics in 2012.

Olympics minister Tessa Jowell recently told the Times that the Olympics would feed £6 billion into the UK economy through 75,000 individual contracts.
