Plymouth events growing

The University of Plymouth, a member of Conference Plymouth, is celebrating a so far successful year that has seen the venue host a variety of national "conferences":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/conference_centres_venues.asp and "events":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/event_venues.asp that have brought over 3,000 visitors to the city.

The university’s Faculty of Arts has hosted events as diverse as an international Poetry and Public Language Conference and the Association of Law Teachers’ 42nd Annual Conference

“We run at least 150 events each year offering a professional service to our customers and encouraging them to fully use the impressive conferencing and accommodation facilities available,” says University of Plymouth conference manager, Nicola Griffin. “Our campus is currently undergoing an extensive programme of development which includes the iconic new Roland Levinsky arts and community building and the James Square education development, which will ultimately enable us to offer wider venue choice and an even more comprehensive event management service.”
