Stoke Mandeville Stadium launch Ladies Only No Strings Badminton Sessions

Stoke Mandeville Stadium is launching ladies only No Strings Badminton sessions after the success of its ladies only beginner courses, with the first session starting on Tuesday 20th March at 8.00pm – 10.00pm.

These pay to play sessions provide women with a great opportunity to have some fun on the courts, from those who have never picked up a racquet to those budding professionals – players of all ages and abilities are welcome and you are always guaranteed to have a playing partner at every session.

Nina Bridge, Regional Officer for Badminton England, said:

“The sessions are a fun and friendly way to get back into badminton and Stoke Mandeville Stadium is running some great sessions led by fantastic coaches from the local area. The classes are very relaxed and informal so why not pop along – even if you haven’t played in years, why not come along and try it out.”

Ian Seabrook, Business Development Manager for Stoke Mandeville Stadium, said: “With the help of Badminton England, we have been able to provide opportunities for the local community of all abilities to play Badminton in a fun and relaxed environment.”

No Strings Badminton is a Badminton England initiative that has been set up in a bid to get more people from across the country involved in badminton.
