Built in 1631 by a Flemish Merchant, Kew Palace is perfect for private parties and intimate corporate events.
Kew has been a royal residence since 1729, but it is best known as home to King George III. In 1788 the nation was thrown into turmoil as the King was declared mad, and a shadow was cast over the palace. But before then, the royal family had enjoyed the intimacy of life at Kew. Queen Charlotte declared that “I shall always love little Kew” and the palace rang with laughter and celebrations, providing welcome distractions from the more serious affairs of state. Now you can enjoy the Georgian rooms just as King George and Queen Charlotte did, and dine in the King’s Dining Room where HM Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 80th birthday.
Kew Palace is available from April to September and can welcome up to 40 guests for exclusive receptions and up to 24 guests for dinner. Private tours of the palace are also available, and our specialist Events team can advise on every aspect of hosting your event here.
