NewcastleGateshead has been picked to host the ABPCO (Association of British Professional Conference Organisers) annual "conference":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/conference_centres_venues.asp 2008. The event will take place at selected venues including Hilton NewcastleGateshead, Matfen Hall and The Sage Gateshead in January 2008 and is expected to attract around 30-40 of the UK’s top professional conference organisers.
