Amazing Retreats has become the latest collection of venues to sign up to the 2012 UK Events Industry Fair Pricing & Practice Charter.
Amazing Retreats has signed up to the charter as part of the Clarenco group, and commits all of the company’s properties to maintaining value and ensuring fairness of pricing leading up to and during the Olympic Games in 2012.
The Charter, created by Visit London and endorsed and supported by VisitBritain and LOCOG, was launched in 2009 as a code of practice to combat any negative perceptions of cost and logistical issues in the lead up to and during Games time. The Charter has also established a community of event and tourism organisations that support fair practices and in turn its legacy will assist with future major international event bids. The Charter, the first of its kind to be created is now a UK initiative and already has over 400 signatories.
Amazing Retreats latest property, Spitbank Fort in the Solent, will be available for exclusive hire later this year and is ideally situated for those wanting a location for the Olympic sailing events at nearby Weymouth and Portland.
