Ansty Hall wins customer service award

Conference venue Macdonald Ansty Hall has won the Excellence in Customer Service award at an industry ceremony.

The Warwickshire hotel was chosen ahead of The Balmoral in Edinburgh at the HRS excellence awards and came runner up in the in meetings category behind Norton Park Hotel in Winchester.

Steve Quick, general manager at Ansty Hall, described the win as a "great achievement" for the venue, Events Review reports.

"All the team at the hotel have worked hard to achieve this success and are very proud of the hotel and service we offer," he told the news provider.

It is the second time that the venue has been recognised for its customer service in the past year, as it was nominated in the Warwickshire TSB Godiva awards in November.

This week, Ruaridh Macdonald, business development director at Macdonald Hotels and Resorts, said events organisers are expecting to have to be on top of their game this year as procurement officers will demand excellent value for money.
