A survey conducted by Church House Conference Centre, a Westminster conference and event venue, has revealed that when looking for AV services 42.3% of event organisers said they would prefer to use an in-house AV team in comparison to just 15.3% preferring to source an external company. The remaining 42.3% revealed that their decision would be driven by price.
The survey also revealed that for 70% of event organisers, AV spend accounted for less than 20% of their event budget while 11.5% of those asked revealed the expense accounted for over 20% of their budget.
In a survey of more than 100 clients – including associations, charities and not for profit organisations, corporate companies, Government and public sector bodies and event organisers and PCOs, Church House Conference Centre asked what was important to them when choosing AV. The Westminster venue carried out the poll amongst its clients as part of an initiative to further improve the AV services it offers.
