A conference venue in Essex has launched a series of 'Sweet Deal' meeting packages designed to attract businesses aiming to reduce their costs.
Five Lakes Hotel, Golf & Country Club in Maldon intends to draw business tourists between now and the end of April with a variety of value packages that will help clients make the impact they need without breaking the bank in the process. The hotel offers 11 separate conference venues in addition to an indoor arena which can accommodate 2,000 people with a floor space of 3,500 square metres. Prices for a day conference begin at £28 per person, while 24-hour packages start at £115 each.
Charles Morgan, operations director of AB Hotels Group, said: "Five Lakes is incorporating extra value and sweet incentives to encourage meetings and events with a warm welcome, great facilities and spot-on service."
The hotel offers additional resources including a business centre, an activity field spanning five acres and free wireless broadband access.
In a recent report from the Gazette, BAA chief executive Colin Matthews said that expanding Stansted Airport in Essex would benefit conference venues in the region.
