Delta Lounge Lands at Chelsea Football Club

Chelsea Football Club has added a new space to its hotel portfolio, in the form of the Delta 360˚ Lounge in the Millennium & Copthorne Hotel.

With a unique airline-inspired design the Delta 360˚ Lounge includes a separate entrance with LED-lit runway, full service bar, dining area, and TV screens all within 108 square meters. The new facility will be open daily and is expected to attract 250,000 visitors per year, as well as be used by delegates and businesses hosting meetings and events at Stamford Bridge.

Launched this month, the lounge provides a new location for continental breakfasts for guests of both hotels, as well as an executive lounge space during the day. Delta, the club’s official airline partner, will also use the lounge to host VIP guests on matchdays – issuing guests with airline-style tickets inviting them to check-in for the match at the lounge.

Simon Hunter, Head of Venue and Brand at Chelsea FC comments: “We’re excited to be opening another new facility at Stamford Bridge. Particularly one with many uses for business and leisure guests like the Delta 360˚Lounge, which provides an additional option for breakfast, acts as an executive lounge for the hotels and can also be used as part of hospitality on matchdays. We pride ourselves on being London’s most complete venue and developments like this enable us to continue to hold this reputation”.

The Delta 360˚ Lounge is the airlines first outside the United States and enables visitors the chance to experience Delta’s service within Stamford Bridge. It joins a number of similar dedicated venues Delta has opened in the grounds of US sports teams it sponsors. These include baseball’s New York Yankees, hockey's Los Angeles Kings and American football's Minnesota Vikings.
