The British Blood Transfusion Society and the British Transplantation Society are both planning to hold events at the Scottish Exhibition + Conference Centre (SECC), it has been announced.
About 500 delegates are expected to head to the Glasgow venue for the British Blood Transfusion Society Annual Conference this year.
The British Transplantation Society will also hold its annual congress at the events venue next year, and also plans to return in 2014 and 2016.
Both organisations have previously used the venue for events in the past.
Ben Goedegebuure, director of sales at the SECC, said: "Attracting these events back time and time again against such strong competition is a fantastic achievement for Glasgow and us as a venue."
He added that repeat business is very important to the Scottish venue, stating that the wins demonstrate that the SECC is "getting it right".
Earlier this month, the conference centre said it will host the Co-Op Spring Conference 2011 and the Scottish Renewables Conference 2011.
