IAAPA chooses London venue for Euro Attractions Show

The Olympia is set to host next year's International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Euro Attractions Show (EAS), it has been announced.

Due to be held between September 27th and 29th next year at the London venue, the event is expected to attract 9,000 participants.

About 270 exhibitors are expected to take part in the event, which is coming to the UK for the first time after previously being held in Rome and Amsterdam.

Anna Golden, commercial director at Earls Court and Olympia Venues, said: "We are delighted to have been selected by the IAAPA to host this truly international event. Being the IAAPA's venue of choice is further proof of Olympia's status as a world class exhibition venue."

Mats Wedin, chairman of the IAAPA Europe advisory committee, added that the Olympia was "without question, one of the best places to take EAS".

The London International Horse Show 2010 is currently taking place at the Olympia and will run until December 20th.
