CHS Manchester Launches for 2026

4 November 2025, Manchester, UK: CHS has announced the merger of its Birmingham and Leeds events to form one major showcase in Manchester next year. The newly launched event will welcome visitors and exhibitors from both locations on 30 September, with the AO Arena set to become CHS’s new venue.

The announcement comes as a result of a collaboration between Marketing Manchester, AO Arena, and the newly launched CHS Manchester show. This partnership aims to leverage Manchester’s growing reputation as a leading hub for events and an ideal destination for CHS’s continued growth, following five successful years in Birmingham and over fifteen in Leeds.

The organisers promise to deliver the same warmth and character that define the CHS brand—now enhanced by the energy and support of Manchester. The new show will embrace a festival-style atmosphere, showcasing an expanded line-up of quality exhibitors and offering visitors the friendly, engaging experience CHS is known for.

“This is incredible news for our exhibitors and visitors as we bid fond farewells to Birmingham and Leeds to create a true ‘supershow’ in Manchester,” said Emma Cartmell, Founder & CEO of CHS Manchester. “This move marks a bold step in our growth strategy, and Manchester’s vision perfectly aligns with our ambition. There’s never been a more exciting time to be in Manchester, and we can’t wait to bring everyone together next year.”

“It’s fantastic that CHS has chosen Manchester as the home for its new supershow,” added Victoria Braddock, Managing Director at Marketing Manchester. “Our teams at Marketing Manchester and AO Arena worked closely with CHS to understand their goals and ensure the best possible showcase. This partnership truly reflects the collaborative ‘Manchester approach’—a model that continues to help us attract and deliver major events. With our growing capacity and experience in hosting large-scale conferences and exhibitions, we’re thrilled to welcome CHS to the city.”

“We’re delighted to be selected as the launch venue for the new Manchester Supershow,” said Amy King, Head of Exhibitions & Live Events at Legends Global. “Following our recent £50 million refurbishment, AO Arena can now host exhibitions, conferences, and awards dinners with ease, using our versatile event spaces and accessible concourse. We’re more than just a music venue, and we can’t wait to show CHS delegates how convenient it is to access the Arena via Victoria Station or the connected multistorey car park.”

CHS Manchester will debut at the AO Arena on 30 September 2026, introducing a fresh theme and educational programme that will tackle the key issues facing event planners in 2026—delivered with the trademark CHS professionalism and personality.
