International Confex reveals partnerships with leading industry associations

International Confex has confirmed partnerships for the 2015 show with the Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA), the International Special Events Society (ISES) and the HBAA.

The renewal and development of the link-up with ESSA, a trade body representing contractors and suppliers of goods and services to the exhibition industry, will see the association increase its support of the show by hosting a pavilion on the exhibition floor. A number of member companies will be exhibiting, showcasing the leading contractors and suppliers of goods and services to the exhibition industry.

Confex event director Liz Agostini commented: “We are very excited to be working so closely with ESSA, they are a valued partner and the extension of their partnership is testament to the strength and continued growth of International Confex 2015. We look forward to working together to promote the ESSA members exhibiting on the pavilion and helping them engage with our audience of senior decision makers.”

ESSA deputy director Andrew Harrison added: “We are naturally huge supporters of the events industry and with International Confex being our industry’s exhibition, this is our shop window and we look forward to hosting the ESSA Pavilion and providing content over the two-day show next year.”

ISES is a global association for creative events professionals. The HBAA is the trade association for the hotel booking agency, apartment and venue community.

Liz Agostini said: “International Confex has always been at the heart of the meetings and events industry. Working alongside these key associations is essential and we are delighted to have their support.

“These agreements mean that ISES and HBAA will bring exceptional content to the programme while Confex provides an outstanding marketing platform for each association and its membership.”

ISES president Kelly Baker welcomed the association’s return to the event, commenting: “We’re delighted to be representing our members again at Confex and the Event Production Show. The co-location of these shows represents a great opportunity for members of ISES to meet one another and to showcase the quality products and services they offer and we have some ambitious plans for how ISES can bring our own creative sparkle to the show.”

HBAA Chairman Chris Parnham said: “I am thrilled that we are working in collaboration with International Confex, one of the UK’s leading events for the meeting and events industry. This partnership will ensure that the HBAA will remain at the forefront of the industry.”

Liz Agostini added: “The collaboration with the HBAA is particularly exciting as it will provide an ideal opportunity to significantly increase the volume of venues exhibiting.”

International Confex will take place at Olympia London on the 18th and 19th February 2015.
