Jumeirah Carlton Tower to host Middle East Congress

Telegraph Business Events, a new division of Telegraph Media Group (TMG), has announced the launch of the Middle East Congress, which will take place in Knightsbridge venue, Jumeirah Carlton Tower next year.

The major new event will take place from the 25th to 26th February 2015 at the five-star London venue. It will be the first planned event for Telegraph Events’ new conference and exhibition arm.

The Middle East Congress is designed to bring together key decision-makers and international investors, along with senior figures from the UK Government, to discuss how business can help the Arab world to unleash its economic potential.
 
Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, is to present a welcome address on the second day of the congress. Other confirmed speakers include Baroness Symons of Vernham Dean; H.E. Reem Al Hashimi, Minister of State United Arab Emirates; Ahmad Abdulkarim Julfar, CEO, Etisalat Group and Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, Executive Chairman, IBBC and Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Iraq.
 
The Mayor of London, commented: “London has always had a close relationship with the Middle East and the region has played an increasingly important role in the development of our city. This congress will bring together key international leaders and will be a great opportunity to exchange ideas about how to boost this relationship.”
