The BT Convention Centre has joined the Hotel Booking Agents Association (HBAA), which could interest those looking for a Liverpool venue.
Part of ACC Liverpool, it hosts numerous events ranging from medical symposiums to congresses, and will not form part of the group.
The HBAA has a buying power in excess of £2.1 billion and the BT Convention Centre hopes this will enable it to drive its professionalism and quality, attracting new businesses to Liverpool venues.
Jacquie Rogers, general manager of the BT Convention Centre Liverpool, highlighted the benefits of using a booking agent.
She says: "We are looking forward to promoting to all of the members what the north-west has to offer and, in particular, the award-winning BT Convention Centre Liverpool."
In other Liverpool venues news, the BT Convention Centre will be playing host to a major social networking event this November.
