Madame Tussauds London unveiled a stunningly lifelike new figure of Her Majesty The Queen in honour of her Diamond Jubilee. The unveiling of the new figure coincides with the launch of the new Diamond Jubilee package now available for events hosted at the venue. With the package including a Pimm’s reception, 1950’s style entertainment and a Jubilee inspired menu (created by Payne and Gunter) with a twist on British favourites including mini Coronation chicken pies, Yorkshire pudding with roast beef and horseradish, wild mushroom quiche and vol au vents filled with asparagus and hollandaise sauce a right royal celebration will ensue as guests celebrate the momentous occasion.

The figure, positioned centre stage in the Royal Area of the attraction, is the 23rd to be created of The Queen by Madame Tussauds London. Replicating the official Jubilee portrait photograph released earlier this year, the figure is dressed in a recreation of the white and silver lace dress covered in 53,000 SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS with blue silk sash adorned with The Queen’s Garter Badge, topped off by a replica of the diamond and pearl George IV State Diadem.
The Queen’s figure took four months to create at a cost of £150,000 and will remain in the Royal area of the attraction alongside recently launched figures of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge plus other members of the Royal Family including the Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry.
The Jubilee package is priced from £60 + VAT per person plus £6,000 venue hire, with agents receiving a 10% commission on newly booked events. The package includes:

- Unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks
